I am currently doing a PhD at the TU Darmstadt, Germany with a focus on IT-Security of wireless ecosystems.
As an app developer I currently work on two Apps that enable you to control your Sonos systems in new ways.
What I Do
App development
I currently work on two apps that make it easier to control your Sonos sytem at home. With Lyd you are able to get full control of all your speakers from your Apple Watch. The Menu Bar Controller for Sonos allows you to quickly control your speakers from your Mac's menu bar.
Security research
As a PhD candidate I'm an active research assistant at SEEMOO, TU Darmstadt. Our team focuses on the security of wireless mobile networks. My main focus lies in the protocol security of closed-source protocols, like Apple Find My, AirDrop and Samsung Offline Finding. In my current project AirGuard I help Android users to protect their privacy against location tracking and stalking attacks.
